Ignite your love for music and connect with others at our weekly Seniors Ukulele and Sing-Along at Beaches Sandbox!
This engaging class invites older adults to learn to play the ukulele while enjoying group sing-alongs. Led by an experienced musician, participants will discover the joy of strumming chords, learning popular songs, and harmonizing together. Join us for a harmonious hour of musical exploration, camaraderie, and pure enjoyment in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Sharon is enjoying retirement from a long career in health care. For fun she likes to play bridge, ride her bicycle, go looking for birds, and ride the neighbourhood on her motor-scooter. She supports the local live music scene. Playing the ukulele and singing are also favourite past times.
Cancellation Policy
Program/class registration is non-refundable. However, if you cancel 24 hours or more prior to the start of your class a household credit will be added to your account. Credits will not be issued for missed classes without prior communication.

Beaches Sandbox offers a wide variety of high-quality programming. Our goal is for everyone to be able to participate in these programs, regardless of their financial status. The Beaches Sandbox Financial Assistance Program is put in place to allow those who otherwise could not afford to participate, access to all programs offered at the centre.
