Supporting Your Anxious Child: A Workshop for Parents and Caregivers

Navigating childhood anxiety can be a challenging and overwhelming experience for parents. Anxiety in children often presents in ways that can be difficult to recognize, and it can impact many areas of daily life, including school, friendships, and family dynamics.

As a parent, it can be hard to know how best to support your child through their worries and fears. This workshop is designed to help parents gain a deeper understanding of childhood anxiety and to recognize common physical, emotional and behavioural signs. We will also discuss practical tools for supporting your child, as well as some ideas for skills that kids can practice on their own to build a sense of calm and confidence.

Presented in partnership with Beaches Therapy Group.
