High School Volunteer Program

High School Volunteer Program

More than just hours.

High school volunteers help bring the Sandbox to life while gaining experience, meeting people and contributing to the community.

Depending on the opportunity, you might:

  • Help with programs for kids and families
  • Welcome guests and help them find their way
  • Support special events
  • Assist instructors with activities and setup
  • Help keep program spaces organized and ready
  • Be a positive role model for younger participants

Who can volunteer?

This program is for students ages 14–18 who are currently in high school.

We’re looking for people who are:

  • Friendly and respectful
  • Dependable and on time
  • Comfortable taking direction
  • Willing to help and learn
  • Ready to represent the Sandbox positively

Some opportunities may have additional training or screening requirements depending on the role.
